Project Optimism – Week 3

It’s been raining cows and horses here. For hours and days. So it’s a really gloomy setting to start writing about hope and happiness. But I’ll try my best. I mean, the day I have is the day I have right? I’d like to start with some pictures and quotes:
Now, let me just talk about the last picture. Optimism IS contagious. As you can recall, I’ve been having a tough time searching for a new perfect teaching job. I think I’m really lucky to have gotten to know all you wonderful people because it’s YOUR optimism and wise/encouraging words that slowly made me realise you’re all absolutely right – I shouldn’t feel so down in the dumps about it because something good will come my way – not yet at that time, but soon. When it’s supposed to happen, it will. To Alastair, Anka, Benjamin, Alarna, Keli, Ute, Rosie, your wonderful words of hope really did help me look at things from a brighter point of view.
And. Now that I’ve decided to put the search on hold, I was called up for an interview on Saturday. The setting, people, location, pay… Everything seems promising. For the first time, my results/qualifications were appreciated instead of feared. In fact the guy seemed pretty impressed. So, ladies and gentlemen, this blog now officially belongs to a Senior English Teacher. HUZZAH!

Oh wait… We can’t really do that… Hmm… Okay… A self-high five for now then.

And…
That’s it for now…

Well it should be! Haha. “Cats and dogs” just won’t cut it for this insane weather.
