Matching

This is Zac’s idea of completing a matching activity in his phonics book. I guess he just thinks writing is such a chore and so restrictive he had to find a way to do it creatively. I was watching him draw each line so I know he got the words and pictures right. He did, didn’t he?

Looks like my worksheets, while in school. Lines, lines, liines! Maybe he is on his way to being the next Pollack?

He does enjoy painting.. And his mother is an artist. So… Who knows?

Yes indeed. His father owns a shipping company and somehow I don’t think this little boy will like working in an office much. More likely he’ll follow mum’s footsteps.

He did, didn’t he. I almost laughed when he did that. I know many teachers who would’ve told him off and rubbed the swirly lines away.

Very creative! Straight lines are boring, right?
